Electricity!

Our Science topic this half term is Electricity.  We began our topic by taking an 'Electricity Walk' around school to see which appliances we could see that use electricity!  Then we looked at what the electricity produces - sound, light or movement.

We have written some super enquiry questions which we will be investigating.

Some of these we can answer using secondary sources.

Do you know how many bulbs are in the Illuminations?  Who invented the first light bulb?  When?  What is inside a light bulb?

Football Alan!

We have had lots of fun on Wednesdays with Football Alan! (even when it has been icy cold outside!)  We have played tactically and well as teams and in pairs and developed skills with a football.  How many keepie-uppies can you do?!

Showing our Emotions

We are coming to the end of our Art topic on Gustav Klimt. We have taken photos of each other showing different emotions which we will then decorate Klimt style. Can you guess our emotions?

The Dreamsnatcher

We are starting a new book in English, called The Dreamsnatcher by Abi Elphinstone. It is really exciting!

Yesterday we started to describe the main character, Moll, using the text to support our ideas. Mrs. Aris was really impressed!
